Für Mountainbikes und Trekkingräder entwickelt, passt das SKS Nightblade Hinterrad-Schutzblech an 26- bis 27,5-Zoll-Räder. Es vereint Spritzschutz und integrierte Beleuchtung, um die Sicherheit und den Komfort beim Radfahren zu erhöhen.

Schnelle Befestigung und integrierte Beleuchtung

Das Quick Release-Befestigungssystem ermöglicht ein schnelles Anbringen und Entfernen des Schutzblechs. Der Nightblade wird mit Powerstrap-Bändern an der Sattelstütze befestigt. Dank seiner 2 Gelenke kann das Schutzblech genauer an die Geometrie des Fahrrads angepasst werden, um seine Position und die Abdeckung des Hinterrads zu optimieren.

Der SKS Nightblade vereint ein Schutzblech mit einer integrierten LED-Rückleuchte. Am hinteren Ende des Schutzblechs angebracht, verbessert das Rücklicht die Sichtbarkeit des Radfahrers bei nachlassender Helligkeit oder bei nassem Wetter. Das Leuchtmodul mit integriertem Akku ist abnehmbar und lässt sich problemlos über USB aufladen.

Doppelter Schutz vor Spritzern

Mit einer Länge von 550 mm ist das Schutzblech aus stoßfestem Hochleistungs-Kunststoff gefertigt, einem Material, das den Belastungen regelmäßigen Einsatzes auf Straße oder Wegen standhält.

Seine umhüllende Form wird durch einen vorderen Spoiler und einen extra-langen hinteren Spoiler ergänzt, um den Spritzschutz zu verbessern. Dieser doppelte Schutz ist besonders nützlich auf dunklen, nassen Straßen, aber auch auf leicht schlammigen Wegen.

Dieses Modell ist auch in einer 29-Zoll-kompatiblen Version für Fahrräder mit größeren Laufrädern erhältlich.

I don't know if I'd call the scent of this "bacon," more like rubber with a hint of bacon. It's very strong. I gave my dog one of the balls & put one in a cabinet where I keep his treats & a few other unrelated odds & ends. I now hold my breath when I open that cabinet b/c good lord, the smell. I'm tempted to just give that one to the dog too, just because it'll air out eventually & then everything else in that cabinet won't smell bad. My dog feels so-so about it. He'll briefly chase after it & chew on it, but loses interest in it pretty fast. My rather hyperactive cat also plays with it from time to time, as he seems to have more interest in most dog toys than the dog these days, so there's that. (Then again, he thinks a wide variety of random items around the house are loads of fun to toss about, so it's possible his opinion is to be taken with a grain of salt. Between the brief periods of one of these balls being chewed on & clawed at, it's stayed completely intact. I think if you have a dog who simply likes to play fetch or chew on rubber balls in general, this one would stand up to the task. But if you're expecting it to be greeted with the enthusiasm as a bacon grease covered ball might be - I'd adjust your expectations.
